Popular gospel singer, Tim Godfrey, traditionally and legally ties the knot with his heart rob, Erica Jones on Saturday, 23rd April 2022.
The Nigerian born and bred singer with the real name, Timothy Chukwudi, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, music director and producer. He was born in Kaduna state, Nigeria into the family of Mr. and Mrs. Victor Godfrey. Tim developed a flare for music at a very young age but it wasn’t until 2004 that he began his full-fledged music career and has since then risen to become one of Nigerian’s exceptional gospel singer and has also successfully carved out a niche for himself in the gospel music arena.
The 43 years old gospel singer proposed to his ‘fiancée’ now wife, on the 16th day of February with beautiful and heartwarming words that received celebrations from fans and turned social media users agog. He said “Meeting you changed my life. Meeting you brought unending smiles. Most importantly, meeting you was and is my greatest reward from GOD. Thank you for saying yes! I can’t imagine how I lived without you all my life but guess what? I would have waited forever till we cross path. But thank God, this beautiful journey has started…”
Few months after such a beautiful proposal, the gospel singer walked down the aisles with his beautiful wife. The wedding was said to have held in Culpeper, VA, United States.
Gracing the ceremony were other international and prominent gospel singers, the likes of Todd Dulaney, Phil Thompson, Dee jones, who were also part of Tim’s groom men. Frank Edwards, Mr Eezee of Eezee concepts, Moses bliss, Timi Dakolo, and a host of many others were also in attendance.
Tim Godfrey also took to his Instagram page to share lovely photos and videos from the private traditional wedding which took place in an undisclosed location for security reasons.
The excited groom took to social media to announce that he had traditionally married his wife in Nigeria on Friday.
